This material combines the flexibility and elasticity of rubber and can be manufactured using conventional plastic processing methods without the need for vulcanization. Moreover, its waste materials are recyclable and can be reused. It is a material with a broad performance spectrum, offering good heat and cold resistance, low density, and comparable oil and solvent resistance to neoprene. However, its resistance to compression set and wear resistance are somewhat inferior. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to +150°C, making it suitable for both cold climates and mid-to-high-rise buildings.
